I volunteered for many pet fairs, worked on farms and ranches and helped train abused dogs for the local animal shelter, fostered a lovely Pit Bull in 2009 who was saved from abuse. Lua happily was adopted within 3 months to a wonderful home on the outskirts of Philadelphia! My Mother was also a dog groomer and worked out of our house for 20 years, so I've constantly been around them my whole life. I also grew up with German Shepherds and Great Danes. Back in 2008 I adopted a Chihuahua that got dropped off at the Pet Store from a couple that saved her from being abused but they couldn't keep her, so I brought her home. Her and my German Shepherd became best friends and were the cutest things to see when they would go for walks!
