Pet care experience
Ever since I was born, I have been around pets of all kinds. I come from a family of animal lovers and we have owned a variety of different pets, from dogs to fish to chinchillas and more. My first ever pet was a Rottweiler named Stella, and then we owned a Great Dane named Duke alongside a Pug named Pugsey (who is still alive now but is a very old man!). I moved out of my parents home in 2019 and now have two British Bulldogs, both rescues, who are my entire life, named Rosie and Bella. Within my family, I am the designated Petsitter and have even cared for 6 dogs at once (one of which is in my profile picture, my sisters very naughty pup Betty). My family and friends have relied on me to care for their pets, feed them and bathe them. My partner and I love walking and therefore the animals I care for get lovely, long leisurely walks in the most beautiful places. As stated before, I am a huge animal lover and would not see any animal be hurt, alone or sad, hence why I am finding homes for pets of friends or peers quite often. I enjoy cuddling pets and giving them a lot of love. Any pets we care for really do become part of the family, and I look forward to adding more beautiful animals to my growing list of my pet family. If you have any questions or need more information, please do not hesitate to ask. I have experience with big and small dogs, as well as small furries and even reptiles such as tortoises as my mam owns two. I am also experienced with older dogs and puppies, as we have had our fair share of both. Animals are my passion in life and I look forward to working with some more, as they will be the centre of my attention alike my two fur babies.

Fantastic!! Courtney called to meet our dogs before our booking started so I was able to explain where everything was and what our two lovely ladies need. Our dogs were well looked after, walked and cared for as well as we would. It was very reassuring to be away and know someone was going to see them. The use of the app was great too, a little update, photos so we could see what they'd been up to. Happy dogs, happy owners. We would most definitely be using Courtney in the future and would recommend her to other owners. Thank you again ? xx

Within my home, I have two friendly female bulldogs, who have both been spayed. They are both rescue dogs and have always been around other animals as near enough every single one of my family members have dogs. However, my dogs most likely not be present on walks, as they have their walking routine which the 'royal princesses' like to stick to, they are very fussy! If you would not want my dogs on the walk, that is completely understandable as I am there for your pet at that time. I have a seat cover in the car if I need to transport any pets, all I ask for is their harness so that they can be fastened in appropriately. However, it is not likely that I will need to take them in the car as I will find nice walking spots near you. When it comes to sit-ins or drop-ins, your pet will be cared for exactly how you ask. I will not do anything or encourage any behaviour that is not allowed or you or not comfortable with. For example, if they are not allowed on furniture then I will ensure they stay off the furniture. I am experienced in feeding, bathing and walking dogs and therefore they will be well cared for. I will not do anything you are uncomfortable with, after all, it is your home and your private space. I am very loving, so expect your dogs to get plenty of cuddles and attention unless they are quite nervous in which I will be cautious of that and take my time in getting to know the pet. Just let me know exactly what is expected, and I will abide by that. Once again, any questions please hesitate to ask and if you would like to do a meet and greet before anything is set in stone then I am more than happy to do so.

I am very experienced with lots of breeds of dogs. As I mentioned before, I have two british bulldogs and therefore, they come with a lot of health issues due to their squashed faces. Therefore, I am experienced with dogs with breathing issues and know how to calm them down when they have their struggles. As well as this, I have rescue dogs, both who came from very abusive or upsetting backgrounds. Therefore, I know how to handle dogs that are nervous around people and make them feel at ease. I have experience with older dogs, as mentioned before, my mam has very old dogs who are blind and therefore, I know how to handle dogs with issues that come alongside getting old. I am also happy to aminister most medications for dogs, such as drops or tablets. If your dogs have any issues such as the ones mentioned, or anything else, please let me know and I can ensure I am prepared to meet your dog and know how to act. Also, it will make me aware if any special needs are required.
A typical day
My partner and I are huge outdoors people. We explore many different places, with some of our favourites being Cleadon Hills, the beaches and we even travel a bit further to places such as Hamsterley Forest. When I go dog walking, I always have a supply of water, treats and toys such as balls for the dogs to enjoy. Therefore, if I am walking your dog expect them to come home ready for some sleep! I play lots of fetch games, and if they like it, allow them to have a splash around in shallow water. I'm very active, therefore, I will happily go on long walks and have a good run around with the dogs. When in my home, I always have plenty of toys for my dogs to choose from as they love toys. Therefore, when I do sit-ins or drop-ins, I will play fetch or ragging games, whatever your dog likes to do. I also love dog cuddles, so I will cuddle them, give them plenty of attention and ensure they are happy when it comes to my time to leave. Just let me know what your dog enjoys and leave the rest to me.

Availability
I am currently studying to be a teacher and therefore during weekdays, I work within a primary school. However, I am free on nights and every weekend. I am happy to do dog walking or check-ins during weeknights as I will be free after 6 pm. During school holidays, I will be a lot more flexible and therefore, I am happy to do dog walks or sit-ins at any time during the day, this will be left to your convenience. This is something which we can discuss at the time. Once again, if you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask.
