I grew up having dogs around all the time; from puppies, to seniors, to rescues. I have an affinity for them all. I work hard to foster individual connections with all the dogs I sit and understand their needs from me (while their pet parents are away so that I am not just that stranger who drops by every now and again) because pet sitting is more than just a walk and throwing some food in a dish. I can also sit more than one dog (siblings) at a time. I understand that there are some dogs that have mixed siblings, cats and ferrets and the like, and it makes it very difficult to find the right sitter. I am that sitter. They will not go ignored. I am currently not a Dog Mom which my availability invaluable for those pets on the introverted side.
