My wife, who also works with animals, lets the dogs out in the morning to hangout before feeding them breakfast and putting them in kennels for a safe-nap time break. I get home around 2:30 and the animals come out and spend the rest of the day having fun! I get up at night with them, as needed, to make sure they stay as comfortable as possible! With my wife and I both working in the animal industry, we've had up to 10 dogs in our house at a time, and are very comfortable with working around our schedule to create a schedule that works for them here!
