Hi there! My name is Courtney, and I live in Bethesda, MD with my dogs Lily and Jameson! I am 30 years old. I moved here from Buffalo, New York for work about 8 years ago. History/ Experience: I have always grown up with multiple dogs, and lots of other animals. Growing up we had dogs, cats, hamsters, rabbits, fish, and even a bird, and I was always heavily involved in their care and training. I got my puppy Lily when she was just over 9 weeks old, and Jameson when he was 8 weeks old. It has been an amazing experience watching them grow and learn. I take great pride and joy in training and caring for my dogs, and will do the same for your dog as if he/she is our own. I know that's cliché and you probably read that a lot, but I truly mean it. My friends all joke frequently that I love dogs more than most people, and I can't say they are far off! Who is welcome: I am comfortable caring for dogs of all ages, skill levels, energy levels, etc. However, due to having a dog of my own, I am unable to care for dogs that are not dog-friendly. I also require that the dog be UP TO DATE on flea/tick treatment and shots. I always like to do a meet and greet beforehand so our dogs can meet and get a feel for each other, as well as get some info from you about your dog. We can travel to you, but you are more than welcome to come check out our place for yourself so you know where your dog will be staying! We can also travel and meet at a park if that is preferred. We are also open to cat care if needed as well, once again as long as they are friendly with dogs. I will do whatever I can to ensure your dog has a comfortable, enjoyable stay, so you can too! I will send daily updates with photos (as many as you want) to keep you updated and feeling at ease while you're away from your pet. We look forward to hearing from you :)

Courtney is a great sitter! I have two goldens that absolutely adore her and the second overnight visit they had, they were so excited to see her and Lily that they ran straight to the back yard to play! She’s very accommodating and updates us with many photos throughout the day which we love! It makes us happy knowing our two boys are in good hands!
Courtney was less responsive than anticipated. It was our dog’s 1st stay. He stayed for 6 days. Right before we picked him up, she shared that he was scratching his belly and developed a slight rash. Upon getting him home I checked out his belly and was surprised to see how raw and red the rash was. I messaged Courtney asking her when she noticed the rash developing and also asked her why his flea collar was removed. 3 days later she has yet to respond. I also had to reach out and ask how he was settling and how he was doing overall. I won’t be using her again.
Munson had his first overnight visit with Courtney and it went great! He was excited to visit and recognized her right away. He immediately wanted to explore her home and see Lily again. I received pictures and updates and will definitely be back. Thank you, Courtney!
It was Cody’s second stay with Courtney and he had even more fun than the first time – he and Lily became such close playmates! He kept looking back when we picked him up, aww. Courtney was great at keeping us posted throughout the boarding period. We’ll have to bring Cody back to his favorite ‘AirBnB home’ next time! 🐶🐾

My dogs are very active so we like to take walks, go to dog parks, hikes, etc. We are able to adjust daily routines based on your dog's individual needs, as my dogs are very easy going when it comes to activities we choose. They're happy to do almost anything. I take my dogs on at least 3 walks a day (morning, mid day, and evening) if not more, but like I said adjustments can be made after we talk. I live in a townhouse with a small fenced in patio and lots of room for walks in the neighborhood. We are also right next to Cabin John dog park!

We are open to all friendly furry friends. No breed requirements/preferences, we just ask that your dog be okay with other dogs as we have two of our own! Check out their bios on my page if you'd like. I have experience taking care of dogs from young puppies only 7 weeks old to senior dogs up to 15 years old. I do ask that you disclose any information about your pet that would help me to make their stay as great as possible. Some examples include their likes, dislikes, fears, allergies, feeding schedule, usual routine, or anything else you think is important about your furry friend!
A typical day
I like to exercise my dogs daily with walks, playtime, etc. We also have a many great areas to walk dogs around our neighborhood. Since we have an active dog, we are comfortable exercising your dog. On the flip side, if your dog is older or not up for long walks or too much play time, we are more than able to adjust. Just let us know what your buddy prefers.

Availability
I work from home, so I am here with the pups all the time! I am also home on weekends whenever my calendar shows as available. I can be flexible with pick up and drop off times as well.
