I have taken care of dogs as my own pets for many years and have always been an animal lover. I spent time dog and house sitting in college and volunteered at a horse ranch where I trained humans to interact with horses. My best memories have been with my dogs hiking in nature and caring for them. I especially enjoy learning about animal psychology and providing positive reinforcement to encourage positive behaviors. I have experience caring for a dog with epilepsy and providing medications. I worked in a veterinary clinic and learned how to provide proper dosage, handle animals safely in many environments, and to identify warning signs of illness such as dehydration and heat stroke.
