Pet care experience
I have had my own pets since I was 15 years old. Cats, dogs, rodents/small mammals, and even reptiles! Recently lost my oldest dog (husky lab mix) to old age and am craving more pets in my life. I currently pet sit for all of my parents, a few friends, my sisters, and even their in-laws! I have recently been recommended to family friends so when I heard of Rover, I decided to make this a legitimate job.

Courtney is the best! Anytime I need someone to take care of my elderly dog with health issues she is my go-to. He’s very fragile in his old age and being mishandled even slightly could lead to a life threatening injury for him, she is great at following his care instructions and keeping him injury free! She is also very trustworthy and reliable, I have given her a key and access to my home on multiple occasions with no issues as well as the animals also being well cared for. After seeing her interact with multiple dogs (and other animals) I can also attest that Courtney is a true dog (and animal) lover at heart she certainly values their health and companionship and would never hurt an animal much less anyone’s beloved pet. 10/10 would recommend :)
If you are looking for someone to take care of you pets the way you do than Courtney is your girl. She is an amazing pet mom and has taken care of my two dogs on numerous occasions. She is wonderful with them and my mind is at ease while I am away. If your need someone for your fur babies..be it a week, a few days or just for a walk, Courtney is the answer to your prayers!
Courtney took care of our 5 pups for a week while we went to Florida... she is excellent with most any animal and very loving and compassionate towards them... she spent the night with them and she also was in and out through the days... she sent us videos and pictures of our pups which made us feel so much better about being away from them...we will def use her services again and would highly recommend her
I could say so many wonderful things about Courtney. Her care and passion for animals is astounding. She has pets of her own, and loves any other animal she comes across like it’s her own. I trust her whole heartedly with my cat. She is reliable. And I can guarantee you she will take the best care of your pet and would treat them like her own.

I have a partially fenced in back yard for play, equipped with tie outs if your pet isn’t one to stay nearby. I also have a 4 year old malamute who loves walks/hiking and swimming in the river behind my house. We are a very active family and Maxine enjoys making new friends (big and small)! My dog sleeps in her crate at night, by choice, but I also allow pets on all furniture! We have space for large crate for your pet, too, if it is preferred.

A typical day
We love to hike, walk, swim in the river, and play with toys! My dog goes on two walks a day (minimally), at least a mile each walk. We prefer to find areas to hike when we have the time, and we always hike near water to help keep us cool.

Availability
I am 31 years old, work overnight part time (2 nights a week) and am a part time student. I have plenty of time to help take care of pet children!
