I can’t wait to meet your fur baby!

Pet care experience

Hi! I’m Courtney 😊 I have an almost 2 year old cat named Pacha & a 10 year old cat named Kuzco who are the loves of my life. I have much more love to give, but my husband says no more kitties (yet), so Rover gives me joy of meeting more fur friends. I work from home, so I am extremely flexible to whatever your fur babies need while you’re gone. I grew up with a feisty chihuahua and a wild terrier, so I am equipped to handle any of your kid’s big personalities. If you have an animal with extra needs, I have tons of experience from my childhood and from my older cat who had health issues/surgery after adoption. I have gotten every shy cat to come out for me during my visits, so I promise your shy baby is in great hands as I respect their boundaries 😊. Whatever your fur babies need, I’ve got you!

Truly a lifesaver! A shout-out to Courtney who went way above and beyond in taking outstanding care of one of our male cats who had just been hospitalized for complete urinary tract obstruction associated with severe acute kidney failure due to feline idiopathic cystitis syndrome and developed recurrent symptoms while we were away. We cannot thank her enough for her numerous cheerful text updates, replies, and additional measures she conscientiously took! Thank you, Courtney!

Courtney took wonderful care of our three cats! They were clearly happy with their care and didn't get into any trouble while we were away. Courtney sent us nicely detailed reports and many, many photos of her playing with our cats each day. Our cats were well taken care of! Thank you!

Courtney took great care of my 2 cats while I was away for a week. Her reports and photos of the cats made me feel assured that my cats were doing well during my trip, and my picky cats seemed to really like her. Would definitely recommend!

You can basically call me a crazy cat lady. My boys have 100 toys, a drinking fountain, tons of scratching boards, bellies full of treats, nutrient rich diets, & tons of cuddles. Your cat will be in great hands with me! As for dogs, I love nothing more than taking them on walks, giving them belly rubs, playing with their toys, & making sure they’re always smiling. I have dog sat all of my friends’ dogs countless times & my mother in law has an 80 pound energetic puppy who I adore! I used Rover to find my cat’s favorite cat sitter, so I love giving someone else the same quality of care that she gives my boys. I will send tons of photos (a must!) & keep you updated every day on how your baby is doing.

Information Courtney K. would like to know about your pet

Besides needing to know ahead of time if the dog is on any medications, how much food they get a day & how often, where the leash is, etc… ahead of time it is nice to know if there’s a fenced in yard or where the owner would prefer I walk them each day so I can plan according to weather, if the dog is aggressive or hesitant towards strangers, & general behavioral traits to make sure that the dog is comfortable with me from the moment I get there.

A typical day

A typical day with your cat or dog would start first with making sure they are fed & well hydrated. If any medications are given in their meals, making sure that is done first (with treats if necessary for a bribe!) Then making sure the pets didn’t get into anything while you’re gone (my boys love to punish me for leaving them with a sitter lol). Then of course I’d wear out the little ones by taking them outside with toys or a leash and then if a cat, playing with their favorite toys!

Availability

I work from home and am available whenever you need me. I have two sleepy cats & no kids, so I have plenty of free time! If your kitties are super playful, I’ll end up staying past the 30 minutes since it’s so hard for me to leave them.
