Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of pets and animals all my life! I know how important it is to have a good caretaker for your pets and would love to help how I can. I grew up with Goldens, turtles, and hamsters and even had a small pet sitting service in my neighborhood as a little girl. Now I work in wildlife conservation and eco-tourism so I’ve spent a lot of time caretaking all different types of animals from sea turtles to kangaroos! In regards to pet sitting, I have taken care of just about every kind - dogs, cats, bunnies, fish, Guinea pigs, chickens, donkeys, horses, goats, turkeys, turtles, ducks, and pigs! I am up for any challenge and have even had a pet sitting job to house train a pig and walk a couple of donkeys. I love getting to know all sorts of animals and would love to help you with yours!

A typical day
I love the outdoors and exploring new places and know your pets do too! I will take them on many walks around your neighborhood and if allowed, through nature trails around OBX too. Beach, woods, etc. I love all the walking trails and beaches around Manteo, Nags Head, and in Nags Head Woods. I will play endless games of fetch and tug of war. I am in great physical shape so I can keep up, even with the pups.

Availability
I am a kayak guide here in OBX and the season is starting up! This means some days I’ll be able to be home with your pet most of the day and be able to let them out every couple of hours. *** However, please note that some days I could be gone for 8-9 hours depending on where you live in OBX. 8-9 hours is definitely less common but I always like to be very upfront that it is a possibility!
