I have spent over 4 years working at and volunteering with animal rescues and have owned my own rescue for over a year. I understand dog behavior and we have fostered numerous dogs so my family and pets are used to visitors. We do have lots of kitties. We are planning to put up a fence this spring, but right now, dogs are taken out on a long leash and walked - we have over an acre. We are comfortable with crating and rotating if necessary. We currently have only one dog of our own who is up to date and friendly. We do foster, but are always careful that dogs are UTD and heathy before allowing visitors.
