Dog Socialization/Senior Care
Pet care experience
*Fully booked for regular dog walks for 2023. Boarding services are available for previous clients only. Calendar is kept up-to-date. Cat check-ins are available for new clients with flexible timing. * Heeling/leash manners training is available. This is a fundamental technique that will carry into other areas of behavioral concern- socialization, prey drive, lunging/reactivity. Rate is $45/40 mins. Depending on your dog's previous training, this may be a prerequisite for off-leash recall training (coming when called) and group walks. Please note: Check-ins and walks are unavailable from 10 am to 3:30 pm. I am currently only serving the Lexington area or 4 mile radius from 99 Hancock St, Lexington, MA 02420. For cat services, it is $20/check-in and $3 for each additional cat. Service includes feeding, playing, scooping the littlerbox, taking in the mail, watering the plants. I have experience with reactive cats. List of references can be provided upon request. Fear-based anxiety is common and the core issue for most behavioral issues. I would love to work with you and your pooch to bridge that communication so that they feel safer with you and me! If you're looking for regular walks (2-5 times a week), I specialize in training dogs how to heel. Heeling/ leash manners training is beneficial to all dogs but especially pullers and those that have a socialization deficit. Heeled walking keeps the dog feeling safe and confident, allowing the handler to take the lead.
Reviews
Courtney is so reliable and flexible. She arrived on time and even covered some extra days when some conflicts arose with a friend covering those days. She's just all around great 👍
Excellent. Responsible. Reliable. Thank you, Courtney.
Courtney was terrific! She sent an update and photo every time she did her drop-in with Bernie, and it was clear she spent time just to give him some cuddling. She was very responsive and communicative, and Bernie seemed just fine when we got home. I recommend her highly!
Courtney was wonderful! She took excellent care of our cat while we were away. We highly recommend her and will definitely call on her again when we take our next trip.
