Pet care experience
I am a passionate friend to the animal community and receive so much joy when animals are in my presence. All of my animals have changed my life and I can't imagine my world without them. I have over 10 pets and look forward to more some day. I have two dogs (one whom I rescued) , cats, a cockatoo, an African grey, 5 rats (3 of those rats I rescued) and a hedgehog (I rescued him as well). I believe that my zoo at home provides me with personal animal experience but I also have been a caretaker to other animals for the last three years. I have also worked at an animal shelter (Brandywine valley SPCA), where I have learned many useful skills when it comes to first aid, behavior training and overall caring for animals.

Courtney is an incredible animal lover, particularly dogs. She worked at the Brandywine Valley SPCA taking care of dogs and helping to get them adopted. She has a great track record of matching the right dog with the right owner and was recognized for her skills with difficult dogs. She also rescued a pit bull of her own and has worked tirelessly to train him into the great companion he has become. I can think of no better person to care for dogs than Courtney Hawkins.
Courtney was AWESOME with my two dogs and my cat. My dogs were always glad to see her because she paid special attention to them. She followed their regiment of care and always went beyond my expectations. My cat usually a bit anti social warmed up to Courtney quickly sleeping with her at night which she never would do with other pet sitters or even myself. Courtney was always willing to stay longer if the situation called for it so she was flexible when my unforeseen circumstances called for it. She is someone who I would highly recommend given her love for animals her flexibility and her prior experience in caring for animals. If my dogs and cat could type they would recommend her as well!
Courtney has taken care of my dog Jenga. I highly recommend her as a dog caregiver. It is difficult to find someone who respects and listens to what you feel your dog needs. She treated my dog like she was hers. Courtney is responsible, caring and kind. I highly recommend her as a dog caregiver!!
I have a Bichon frise and pit bull who Courtney has taken care of on many separate occasions. She has come to know their individual needs and they love her. She treats the dogs as if they were her own. When away on vacation, I have no worries about my beloved animals because of her dedication to their care. She is reliable and trustworthy.
