Pet care experience
I graduated from vet tech school and became licensed 9 years ago, have experience in general practice, and spent the last 7 years in emergency and critical care medicine. I grew up with dogs, cats, and a variety of other animals and looked after pets of family friends for over a decade. I currently have a dog and cat who get along well with other dogs. Because of my experience in veterinary medicine, I feel comfortable medicating dogs or cats if needed. I am cool, calm, and collected in a crisis and feel confident that I would be able to determine if or when a pet is in need of urgent medical care. I am able to communicate with owners as often as wanted and look forward to meeting all your furry babies!

Courtney watched our high-maintenance dog while we were out of town for a few days. She brought her adorable pup, Khaleesi, with her and the two dogs got along great. Courtney handled our dog's focal seizures like the true professional that she is and updated us regularly on her status,, sending is pictures and reassurances that our dog was doing fine.

Courtney was great with our dog! We needed to find a sitter last minute and she was happy to help out. She was quick to respond to everything, provided updates throughout the day, and kept our dog in great care. Would highly recommend!
Courtney was awesome from start to finish! My dog was legitimately excited to be there and she kept me in the loop with pictures throughout his stay! It felt safe and comfortable and he came home absolutely exhausted the next day! I will definitely book with her again in the future!

A typical day
I have a small backyard and very energetic small dog who absolutely LOVES to chase the ball around the yard and play with any dog that comes over. I also live in a neighborhood that’s flat and perfect for walking. I also live within 15 minutes of two dog parks.

Availability
I work full time 3 days a week out of the house but have availability most weekends! I typically wake up mid morning, take care of tasks around the house, sometimes run errands if needed, but most of the time just relax at home on my days off.
