Pet care experience
I have a network of pets of all types and sizes that I had taken care of since I was a teenager. As adults, my husband and I have also fostered for various rescues throughout the years, so my personal dogs are well-acclimated to new friends! I am comfortable with administering most medications as long as the vet instructions are provided for everyone’s safety. I specialized in puppies during our foster tenure, and do not mind the inherent difficulties (and accidents and training schedules!) that come along with them. I do have one VERY dog-friendly two-year-old son. (Absolutely no ear pulling, neck holding, dog riding, or any other abuse is ever allowed in our house.) I have a deep love for pets of all shapes and sizes, and would love to have the opportunity to spoil your baby!

Courtney is one of the only caregivers we trust with our animals. Our beloved family pet required unexpected emergency surgery while we were out of town, but we were able to depend on Courtney for the piece of mind that he was receiving the best care during his recovery period. She treats our animals as her own, and we know that they’re as happy and safe in her home as they are in ours.

Although we no longer foster, my house is still divided into “sections” with permanent baby gates, so any kiddo-reluctant pups will be able to have guaranteed breaks as needed. We have a very large backyard that is securely fenced (and has been tested by many escape-artist fosters!) We have several large shade-trees that keep our yard significantly cooler in the Texas heat. Our 3 personal pets are kept up-to-date on all of their vaccinations, and are on a monthly flea preventative. All were raised by a crotchety, bossy calico cat who made sure to whip them into shape before leaving us across the rainbow bridge, so all are cat friendly.

I am very flexible on schedule! I am currently a stay-at-home-mom, so barring occasional hour or so long play dates or grocery shopping, I am home full time! As of this moment, I have no scheduled conflicts, so please message me for a meet and greet!
