Pet care experience
Animal Lover of all kinds, shapes, and sizes. I grew up with dogs and have been around them my entire life. From as small as a Teacup Poodle and as big as a 90lb German Shepard. As an adult I have house sat, walked, and watched dogs for years for family and friends. I have experience with special needs dogs in giving them medicine on a consistent basis, in pill form and in the form of gel eye medication. I love the outdoors and I love to go on walks or hikes. Since I have been around dogs my entire life I know the signs of stress and how to appropriately address the situation with a calm and collected demeanor. I also know how to show my authority in commands and basic training to let the dog know I am the leader of the pack so they can trust and look to me for direction.

Courtney has cared for my pets several times over the last few years. Sometimes it was just 1-2 meals, others it was 6-7 days at a time. This included 3 cats (who did not get along) and 4 exotic small animals, so you can imagine the long list of instructions I had to leave for her including supplements, specialty diets, and treats. I never had to worry though, because Courtney is trustworthy and reliable, comes when she says she will and communicates well. She is also a kind-hearted person and all my pets were comfortable with her. Even my very skittish cat who prefers to hide from visitors had clearly been at ease around Courtney. As my preferred pet sitter, I would highly recommend Courtney to care for any pet!
Courtney has been AMAZING with our 3 dogs (Ages 15,12 and 1) Courtney has dog sat for us on numerous occasions. The dogs get so excited when she arrives that they forget we’re leaving them. One of our dogs is special needs (prone to seizures) Courtney is consistent with medication delivery and has been able to look out for the signs or symptoms of a seizure upcoming. Having Courtney pet sit for us has taken the pressure and stress off us and we’re able to enjoy our vacation and not worry about them.

I have no pets of my own currently so your pet will have my full attention while staying with me. I have pet sat crate trained dogs and am very familiar with it. They will have free roam of my house while I am home, it is just myself so there is plenty of space for your dog to roam, or lounge around in a nice sunny spot. I live in a quiet neighborhood with a fenced in back yard giving your pet the ability to roam about at they please.

A typical day
If the sun is shining we can play fetch in the back yard or go for a hike, explore some new scents! After we've exhausted ourselves playing we can snuggle up on the couch for a nap or lay on the ground for some belly rubs!

I work part time for a local fitness studio which gives me the availability and flexibility to walk your dog multiple times a day or spend a significant amount of time with your dog.
