Pet care experience
I have been a foster mom for all sorts of animals for over 20yrs, adopting 7 of my many fosters. My last dog passed away 11 years ago, and I now have two wonderful Ragdoll cats, Louis and Oliver. While I don't have dogs in my home anymore, at every available opportunity, I shower as much snuggles, kisses, treats, etc on the dogs and cats I take care of as I can!

Courtney is the absolute BEST!! I asked her to watch my boy when a vacation opportunity came up and my regular sitter wasn’t available, and I couldn’t have been happier with the care she provided. My dog was having stomach issues and she did everything so willingly and happily for him, from picking up meds from the vet and dropping off a stool sample to making him chicken and rice for meals. Being out of town while my boy was having those issues was stressful, but Courtney took wonderful care of him and put my mind at ease. I am so grateful for her, and I know my boy can’t wait for her to stay with him again!
Courtney was awesome, very flexible, sent tons of photos, constant communication, and left our home clean and tidy. Will definitely book with her again!

When I am in someone's home, I always make sure to follow whatever rules are already in place. No dogs/cats on the furniture? Okay. No human food allowed? Okay. I firmly believe that your fur babies need rules and structure just as much as they need fun and love. But if they can have human food or can nap on the couch, it's on!

I have worked a lot with special needs dogs so I am familiar with blind dogs and more dependent dogs, but if your baby has a special diet, or a special toy they just need to have with them, or has separation anxiety, or is just plain silly, please let me know. The more I know, the better the experience for all of us.
A typical day
I'm always up for the dog park or walks, depending on the weather. And if you have a heated pool and your baby likes to swim, that works too!

Availability
I work full time from home, so I am able to devote time for walks, playtime, etc. as needed. Wherever my laptop is, that's where I will work, and if someone needs to go for a walk, then the laptop closes and we go for a walk.
