Pet care experience
I was raised in a home with dogs - a yellow lab and then, later, two cockapoos. In recent years, I've been the go-to for my sister and mom's dogs - both large goldendoodles. Most recently, I was declared the "puppy godparent" for my best friend's 6mo old puppy. I am their go-to for daytime feedings and walks, as well as on-call for any emergencies (like when the pup accidentally got into the trash can while they were out!)

I do not have any pets of my own so if your pup is to stay at my apartment, they will receive all the attention, love, and care! If they'd benefit from doggy playdates, my friend's pup lives just up the street and there's a dog park around the corner from my home that I'd be happy to take them to.

Let me know if your dog has any particular behaviors or special routines that I should be aware of before booking, please. I want to make sure to give your pup the same care you give them! Here's my list of go-to questions to better understand your dog: - How is your dog with other dogs? When on leash vs. off-leash? - How is your dog with humans? (And particularly with males? I have a roommate!) - Does your dog have any toys that are off-limits? Will you be providing toys and treats? - Does your dog have any food allergies I should be aware of? (There's a spot down the road with a box of treats for dogs on the weekend) - Is there anything else about your dog that I should be aware of? Preferences, behaviors, patterns, routines, or otherwise.
A typical day
My friends’ puppy has a lot of stimulation / sniffing / puzzle / treat toys and I will often take him for a walk and leave him at the home with a puzzle to work through to keep him entertained. I’m happy to take your pup to the dog park or on a long walk nearby, if there’s a favorite spot you go to. And happy to set up dog puzzles/treats if you have them

Availability
I'm currently working a part-time contract role and working from home, so my schedule is flexible and I am available for drop-in visits and midday walks. I'm also open and available for puppy boarding and housesitting.
