If the pet is in my home, they will have free reign of the house and fenced in backyard. Feeding times all dogs are separated to avoid any conflicts. In a client’s home, I will follow any and all rules left by parents. But, no matter what, those babies are getting kisses and cuddles.

I always ask about temperament around other dogs, new people and new environments. I also ask for any known allergies or if they are medicated. I also like to ask if they have any habits/behaviors I should be aware of. Lastly, I ask what scares or makes them nervous to avoid making them uncomfortable.
A typical day
Playtime one on one or within a group of dogs is always supervised. With parent consent, I like to take pups on walks or to dog parks to expel some energy as well. Even some very simple basic obedience training helps tire them out from mental stimulation!

Availability
Care provided for pets is on a case by case basis. Solely from running kennels, I prefer to keep pets on their normal schedule/routine so they’re as comfortable as possible! Having five pups and a kitty at home, I understand how important their routine is to them!
