Pet care experience
I am a big animal lover looking to help fellow pet parents during my spare time and with my newfound flexible work from home schedule. I am responsible, careful, compassionate, and communicative. I live in the Fishtown area and am available for drop-in visits for cats and dogs, as well as walking for dogs. I grew up with both cats and dogs in my home, and I currently have a 9 year old cat, Zoey. I would love to take care of your pet in your home when you are traveling or if you need an extra hand during the week. I also have experience volunteering with several animal rescues, including Rural Dog Rescue, Lucky Dog Animal Rescue, Street Tails Animal Rescue, and a local PetSmart. I look forward to meeting you and your fluffy friends!

Courtney has taken care of my two cats several times while I was out of town and I've been very happy with her. She's been very reliable, attentive to their well being, and communicates with me after each stay.
Courtney was FABULOUS with our 10 month old, energetic lab mix. She took such excellent care of him in our home and followed our many, careful instructions to a "T." She was a super house guest and treated our pup like he was her own. She was up early with him and took many long walks as it takes quite a bit to tire our guy out. She sent lots of pics which we loved of them out on walks and during couch cuddles. We could see that he was in great hands and looked truly happy. Would definitely recommend her. Can't wait to book with her again!! Thank you, thank you, thank you, Courtney!!
Courtney walked my dog while I was in town for a few weeks for work. She was very reliable and communicative, and she sent me lots of pictures during her time with my pup. My dog loved her, and I was sure he was always in great hands. I would not hesitate to use her again if I found myself back in D.C.

I do not currently offer care for pets in my home, however, I do offer drop-in visits to your home. I will carefully enter your home to ensure no escape artist exits. I'll make sure to do the requested tasks - feeding, refresh water, clean kitty litter, play with your pet - during my visit and send photos. Additionally, I'm happy to pick up mail, water plants, etc. if you are gone for an extended period of time.

A typical day
I will walk your dog around the neighborhood for the requested amount of time. I love to do a few loops around the Palmer cemetery or walk to other nearby parks.

My remote work schedule provides some flexibility to check-in on your pet throughout the week. Additionally, I am often available for weekend visits/walks as well!
