Pet care experience
My name is Courtney & I am 25 years old living on Grosse Ile. I recently moved back home with my parents while I attend nursing school. Animals have been my passion my entire life, when I was younger I wanted to be a vet until I found out they put animals down. When I got a dog of my own in college, he was a handful compared to our family dog. Raising/training him has provided me with all experience needed when it comes to patience and reading dog body language to develop the happiest and healthiest pet to owner bond. Your animals with be treated as if they were my own and nothing less. My mother’s friend has recommended me to three of her friends now for in home sitting and I can ensure you they would recommend me to anyone that asked them as well. If you ask anyone, I’m happiest when I am spending my time with animals, let me spoil your furry family member while you are away, I know how nerve wrecking it can be to have to leave your pet behind but with picture & texts updates while you’re away, I can promise you they will be in good hands. *FOR THOSE REQUESTING I STAY IN YOUR HOUSE - due to working in a hospital, if you book me last minute I may have to work some days. By booking me you will be agreeing to allowing my mother come to your house while I’m at work to let your dog out every 3 hours.*

I never have to worry when Courtney is watching the dogs. She enjoys playing with them and will take care of whatever they need, from taking them for walks to cleaning their ears and brushing their teeth! She's compassionate and has a real love for all animals. Courtney is dependable and will give your pet the attention they need.

Courtney stayed at my home with my 10-year old lab, Elli, for a week while we were on vacation. After talking with Courtney prior to our trip and seeing her interact with Elli for the first time, I knew I had nothing to worry about. And I didn’t - Elli was so well-cared for while we were gone. Courtney followed Elli’s schedule just like we do. She took her for walks, got up in the middle of the night to let Elli out, and gave her lots of attention! Courtney alerted me the day before we came home that Elli was having difficulty walking - she was right, Elli was diagnosed with arthritis after we returned from our trip. Courtney loves dogs and makes sure they are well-taken care of when their owners are gone. I highly recommend Courtney as a dog sitter.
