Is your pet house/litter box trained? Do you take your dog for leashed walks or do they prefer playing in the yard? Does your dog need to be crated when alone? Does your dog have any history of aggression with kids, dogs or cats?

When we are at home our favorite past time is cuddling on the couch together and watching movies. I don’t have any young children so it’s a calm and quiet home which makes it an ideal environment for senior pets. If your dog is laid back or lazy and prefers to spend their time napping the day away I can accommodate that! My dog is a clown and always ready to have fun so he makes an ideal buddy for younger dogs wanting a playmate but also has no problem spending his day just curling up on the couch if your dog is simply looking for a nap partner! We try to spend time outside when the weather cooperates so in the evening we enjoy strolling the neighborhood and meeting other dogs and their owners out doing the same. Fishtown is a very pet friendly neighborhood, many of the neighbors do professional dog sitting and walking so we are always meeting different dogs when we are out on our walks. On weekdays my teenagers are happy to be stand-in cuddlers and potty break providers when I’m at work.
