Pet care experience
I'm a college student who loves to spend time with animals! I began caring for dogs through Rover when my beloved childhood dog of 10 years (an adorable West Highland Terrier, Ollie) passed away last year and I missed the constant canine energy in my life. I have loved working with Rover and am thrilled that my family just recently rescued two little yorkie mixes. The cutest!!! I am happy to care for all dogs regardless of size or energy level. I have extensive experience with dog walking and pet-sitting for friends, family, neighbors, or through other third-party websites. I'll walk, feed, play, and cuddle with your pup! I enjoy being outside so I would make sure to get a decent walk in, however far you would like me to take your pet.

I am so grateful we found Courtney to take care of our 11-year-old lab over the holidays! She was reliable and communicative. Our dog takes a few different medicines at night and she handled them easily and sent pictures each time she visited. I felt relieved knowing our dog was in such good and caring hands. I would definitely rebook with Courtney in the future if our schedules align.
Courtney took really good care of Roxy and communicated very well by phone! She walked her, fed her, and cuddled with her. We will have her again anytime!
Courtney was wonderful with my large American Bully and that is no easy feat considering he is stubborn as they come. She arrived morning and night with predictability and kept my little guy well taken care of for the 5 days during Christmas. Thank you again Courtney!

I always check in with the client before I take care of their pet to make sure I am aware of any specific habits or rules they have with their furry friend. I make sure anything hazardous is out of the way, they have the proper gear on when going for walks, and I always have my phone on me to communicate with the client if needed!

I would like to know if the dog has any allergies I should be aware of or any weird behaviors that would illicit concern (i.e. if your dog has a natural limp, I would like to know just so I don't worry he or she was injured on a walk). And I'm comfortable with all breeds; I am biased towards smaller dogs because I've had them myself!
A typical day
I'm familiar with the fitness and nature routes in the area, as well as navigation in general. I am also able to go on your typical route if you keep a routine with your pets, or take them to new places.
