Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of dogs for friends and families for 6+ years from puppies to senior dogs. I have my own 3-year-old and 1-year-old rescue dogs that I’ve given basic and crate training. I also love cats and have some experience with cat sitting as well. I am very comfortable taking care of your pet(s) in their own environment. I can easily crate your dog, feed, walk, and play at home. Whether your dog needs a lot of exercise or just a small walk, I am your gal! I understand every dog has their own quirks and needs and am very patient and loving no matter what they are.

I am more than happy to care for your pet in your home. I know pets tend to be more comfortable staying home rather than going to a sitter, especially new ones. I am able to follow all instructions and routines you have with your pet. I have some experience with basic training on-leash with my own dogs and feel comfortable doing that with yours if it is of any interest!

Let me know what dietary restrictions they may have or any allergies. If your pet has any special needs or quirks to them, especially around other people and animals (i.e. reactionary on a leash or any other time). Fun information but not necessary would be their favorite treat, a toy they have, etc. to make them most comfortable with me watching them!
A typical day
I absolutely LOVE going on long walks multiple times a day. With my own dogs and the ones I watch, we go on exercise walks which tend to be longer in distance, and stimulating walks where I just let them leisurely sniff as much as possible to mentally stimulate them. I also have different mental stimulation techniques I can implement with them on days the weather is bad or to help keep them busy. I love playing with dogs as well to get energy out and will gladly throw a toy or ball to keep them interested as many times they need it.

Availability
During the school year, I work as an athletic trainer for after-school activities, this frees up a lot of my mornings since I do not have to go to my school until 2 PM. Once May hits, I have a more open schedule and am able to come at all different times. During the school year, my winters are more open and in the spring and fall months, I am a bit busier but still feel free to ask as I update my Rover schedule often.
