Pet care experience
I grew up with animals and absolutely love them all! I have had dogs and cats my whole life. I'm a 4th year PhD candidate at Temple University (where my research focuses on human-animal relationships in the city, specifically the human-equine bond of black urban riders). I've also worked on primate sanctuaries both in the US and in Africa. I feel all animals have their own agency, and I look forward to giving yours what they need to be happy as their pet sitter! Even though I do not currently have any animals at home, any animal I care for I do so as if they were my own.

Courtney was amazing. She took great care of our dog and house! We even had a few people come to our door and she let us know who they were and communicated it well. She sent updates/pictures of our pup and asked questions when she wasn’t sure of something. Highly recommend!
Courtney was truly amazing. She stayed with my anxious pup shouki for over a week and took such good care of him and the entire house. She is kind, thoughtful and just the type of person you want to entrust your family member to. I can't say enough good things about her.
Courtney was fantastic with my elderly cat and dog. Both of them have some complicated medical issues, and she was unlucky enough to be there at a time when both of them ended up needing some extra care and attention (our dog has unpredictable flare-ups of his condition and our cat was having some difficulty with a medication taper). She was fantastic about communicating what was going on with them and took great care of their various needs. Both pets were happy and healthy when I returned!
Excellent and professional sitter. Was very accommodating with a last minute sitting request and had a comprehensive pre-sit meet and greet. Sent pictures and detailed updates throughout the stay and took wonderful care of my two pups - one 12yo senior dog on daily medication, and one 9mo puppy who is still potty training. Highly recommend!

My back yard is secure and fenced in, so I could keep your pup safely outside on potty breaks. I have hard wood floors and cozy couches for snuggles. Both roommates are pet friendly and love visiting animals.

I do not have any breed preferences. I would like to know if the dog is good on a leash, if they are friendly with other dogs, and if they tend to scare easily (by certain types of cars, or horns, etc).
A typical day
I love walking through parks and through new neighborhoods. I enjoy playing fetch with dogs, rubbing bellies, and doing any tricks they may have learned. If they have a favorite toy, of course we'll play with it as much as they'd like.

Availability
I'm a full time PhD student, with very flexible hours. My work is mainly remote, so I can bring my laptop for down-time with your fur babies. I also have a house (with a nice back yard) where I could board your animal/look after them at my place while you're gone.
