As an animal advocate, I grew up knowing that I wanted to work with animals in some sort of capacity. I owned several of my own dogs through the years, I did Rover when I lived in Texas and then eventually I landed the best job of my life, working as a fundraiser for the Humane Society here in Colorado. It gave me great pride in knowing that I was giving a voice to the voiceless! And not to mention the access to as many fluffballs as possible. But unfortunately, I was unable to move forward with that job, due to my disabilities. Now I advocate for others who are disabled and want to get back to helping other families by taking in and watching/treating their furbabies as if they were my own. I have seen the abuse out there, it’s unconscionable! I know that no one is ever going to take care of what you love, as you love and do for it. But I treat every animal with the love that they need and deserve. If you give me the opportunity, I’ll happily make sure your pup feels at home any time you’re away.
