I grew up with dogs (mostly Germans Shepherds, age 6 weeks thru 12 years), and have taken care of friends’, neighbors’ and family’s dogs for well over a decade. I also am a sucker for a long walk (with or without a dog), so very able to especially help larger breeds the exercise they need (and can sometimes miss in a city).

Courtney is wonderful! This was my first time having a dog sitter so I was a little nervous but Courtney was so friendly and reassuring. She came over for a meet and greet and spent time getting to know Aspen, our space and the local area. Aspen took to her immediately and I left for my trip feeling confident that my baby was in caring and loving hands. Courtney provided photos, videos and updates throughout the visit and was super responsive to any texts or questions I had. I can’t tell you how wonderful it is to return home from a trip and have your friends and neighbours tell you how lovely and caring the dog sitter was that they saw with Aspen. Aspen watched Courtney leave and will be thrilled when she comes back to dog sit the next time!
Courtney is one of the most remarkable human beings on the planet. She puts others needs before her own, she is loyal and trustworthy. Courtney is an animal lover, especially dogs. She does not know life without a dog. Sydney was her first dog, a German Shephard (she lived to be 15 years old). Elsie was her family's second dog, also a German Shephard (lived to be just shy of 15 years old). The current family dog is , you guessed it, another German Shephard named Romy (just turned 1 year old). Courtney flew home for a month to help raise the family dog. They have an incredible bound even though distance separates them know. Courtney knows how to walk an animal, to clean up after an animal and to correct an animal with patience and love. She would be an asset to your company and represent you well!!

I love stimulating dogs physically and mentally! From short to long walks around the neighborhood, favorite games in the house, and more. I really enjoy walking dogs to my favorite parks — GGP, the Panhandle, Sutro Heights, etc.

Availability
I’m currently working full time, but fully remotely and with the ability to take breaks throughout the day. I have the most free time in early mornings and evenings after 5pm, but can be flexible with enough notice.
