I have ten years of professional experience caring for animals and I`ve also owned many animals throughout my life (cats, dogs, bunnies, guinea pigs, chinchilla, fish, frogs, cockatiels, hermit crabs, and turtles). My professional experience began when I started volunteering at my local humane society in high school and I have since worked at two veterinary clinics as a Kennel Technician. I am currently working as a Veterinary Assistant and am in school to become a Veterinary Technician. I also volunteer with a local wildlife rehab working with opossums! I recently spent four weeks in South Africa completing a Pre-Veterinary program where I worked with goats, sheep, pigs, cattle, tortoises, antelope, and other wildlife. Therefore, I have experience watching your non-dog/cat fur babies as well! I have experience injecting insulin, administering oral medication, injections (adequan etc.) and fluids, as well as providing specialized care for geriatric or special needs dogs. I can also provide post operative care for your pets. I am pet CPR certified as well and bring a pet first aid kit on all my walks! All animal friendly pets are welcome at my home with my tripod boxer, three cats, three guinea pigs, chinchilla, and husband (who is also a Rover petsitter). I`m very flexible with my schedule and will provide the best care for your babies while you`re away! I'll treat your kiddos like they are mine and will give specialized attention to each fur baby in my care. I love to give frequent updates and send lots of pictures.
