Unfortunately, our senior puppy had a hard time warming up to Courthny and I really wish that the week had been easier for the two of the them. We had a meet and greet with Courthny before our scheduled in-home sitting visits for approximately 30 minutes, and I wish that Courthny and my dog Ashley had had alone time to get related during the visit. The entire visit was spent talking with no time given to Courthny and my dog getting to know each other. This was our first time using Rover, and now I know how important that initial contact can be for both the sitter and the dog. I think Courthny did a good job given our dog was pretty cranky with her during the sitting appointments. On numerous occasions Courthny reported that my dog did a low growl and even snapped at her. That is not normal behavior for our elderly dog around our family or friends who visit, and I am so sorry that Courthny had to deal with that. In review, Courthny did make sure that Ashley was given food, fresh water, her meds and that she was given the opportunity to go outside to potty in the backyard each visit. I do wish that Courthny had stayed the agreed to 30 minutes each visit, as many times she only stayed 10-15 minutes and then would leave. Staying the full 30 minutes each visit may have made a big difference in my dog building a better rapport and trust with Courthny.

She was great with our dog and cat while we were gone. She sent us pictures every day, and the house was clean when we got home.
