Pet care experience
I’ve grown up around lots of dogs and I’ve always had an ability to connect with them and understand their needs. In college, I worked as a dog walker in downtown Salt Lake City. Amongst my friends, I’m the designated pet-sitter! Watching your doggos would be my pleasure and truly a win-win arrangement!

It is obvious how much Cortni LOVES dogs from the moment she gets around one. She is so loving, attentive, and playful with them. I really enjoy watching her interact with my dog. In addition, she is also a very reliable and responsible person. I know I can always count on her. I treat my dog like a spoiled princess and I know when Cortni is watching her, she gets the very same treatment.
Our dog came from the Humane Society after a difficult early life. We think she has a history of abuse and may have spent some time as a stray. She was middle aged when we got her, so was already set in her ways. It is very difficult to gain her trust. But with only limited time together Cortni is well on her way to gaining that trust.
Cortni sat for me and 3 of my dogs(kids). I was a bit nervous at first because my dogs have never been away from me, but from the moment she walked in the door, I knew my dogs were in attentive, loving hands. I came home to dogs that had a great weekend with a new sitter and friend.

A typical day
I live near the Silverlake Resevoir and I love taking pups to the dog park there or just doing a lap around to get some exercise! I’m also an expert tug-o-war, ball thrower, chasing companion!

I work as a freelance set designer in film and commercials. In between jobs, I don’t have much going on so I have plenty of time to take care of your furry family member.
