Pet care experience
Pet care experience, I've owned dogs my whole life. I was the manager at a dog groomers for several years in Asheville where I washed dogs. Currently help my mom with her dog, Jax, the mini doodle as much as I can. Went to school for wildlife biology, sadly don't work in that field, but it just shows I'm a big animal lover.

I've known Cortney for about 8 years now, she's been washing my dogs for a long time. She's always up front and transparent if she noticed a lot of matting or skin issues on my dogs. My dogs just lover her and are so excited to see her when she comes around. If you're thinking about a new dog walker or someone to wash your dog, Cortney is great! Very laid-back and easy going and easy to work with, always has a smile on her face.

I unfortunately live in an apartment, so I dont have a backyard. I take my mom's dog out for walks throughout the day though and there are some great trails nearby. I also have a membership to Anne Springs Greenway, which I take Jax to all the time.
Information cortney p. would like to know about your pet
Biggest thing to know ahead of time if you want me to wash your dog is if they have sensitive skin like allergies or anything like that. It would certainly help to know what kind of shampoo would be best for your dog.
A typical day
Since I'm mainly doing dog walking and washing, I won't be having the long period of play time with your pup as someone who was keeping them overnight. But we will still have a blast on walks and if your dog likes to run then I'll happily take them for a run with me.

Availability
I work full-time from home and occasionally have to go out and meet customers throughout the week, but it leaves me with free time in my day to take dogs for walks and give them a good scrub so their owner can come home to a clean pup.
