Professional Dog Trainer

Pet care experience

I've been a professional dog trainer at a local small business for over 3 years. I work with puppies as young as 12 weeks, dogs of any breed and age, and primarily help dogs and owners with leash manners, impulse control, reactivity, resource guarding, and anxiety/fear. I feel passionately about helping dogs and their owners enjoy their lives together by improving their communication, understanding, and their bond. I love getting to know each dog I work with, every dog is different and has a unique personality.

My dogs LOVE Corrine (which I think speaks volumes)! They cannot wait to see her and I trust that they have the best time when she is with them. I get plenty of photo and video updates and know that she cares for them the same way I do.

Safety, trust & environment

I am well-versed in caring for dogs of all breeds, ages, and temperaments including anxious, fearful, and dog-aggressive dogs and can advocate for them as needed. On walks and in the yard, I will ensure that any leash/collar/harness is well-fitted and safe.

Information Corrine L. would like to know about your pet

Please let me know if your pup has any special quirks so that I can care for them as best as possible. If your dog is stranger-weary, not dog-friendly, has any triggers, or has a favorite activity, give me a heads up!

A typical day

On walks and drop-in visits, I'm happy to work with your pup on their leash manners, greeting manners, recall, impulse control, or other struggles/goals that you have. I will always encourage pups to use their manners and can support any training goals you're working on. Outside of training, I enjoy hiking with dogs and getting to see them explore, sniff, and climb in nature. My favorite game to play with dogs is tug.
