I am 25 years old and have been taking care of animals since the day I could walk. I have had just about every pet you can think of including dogs, cats, bearded dragons, fish, hamsters, Guinea pigs, rabbits, and chinchillas! I have also worked professionally with animals for two years now. Currently, I work as a Lead/Senior Pet Care Specialist within a boarding, day care, and day camp facility!

Safety, trust & environment
Safety is my #1 priority. Before each walk and during each home visit, I will ensure proper/working gear and check the health of your pet! While out of the house, I will ensure your pets safety by keeping them on leash and in safe environments. If we visit dog parks, I supervise like a hawk, observing behaviors to ensure safe play with other puppies! Additionally, I have training and experience in preventing/breaking up dog fights and will have tools on me in precaution. Before leaving the house at the end of my visit, I will ensure your pet is happy and healthy and ready for a nap! I have experience in medication administering as well. I have many animals of my own so I will not be able to offer services in my own home. Pets are going to have anxiety/stress with you being away from home. Their routines and schedules are going to be out of wack. Boarding them or having someone animal sit within an unfamiliar environment can highten that anxiety/stress. Keep your babies in their familiar environment and I’ll make sure their routines are followed as much as possible!

I like to know everything I can about an animal To not only provide the safest care but also the most fun care! I would like to know about any special needs/requests, their likes and dislikes, their enrichment favorites, their triggers, and any fun quirks that they have!
A typical day
I am ready and willing to go on miles of walks, throw hundreds of tennis balls, supervise like a hawk in a dog park, cuddle for hours, and/or get every scratch they've ever needed scratched! Let me know what they like and I bet we will be able to experience them all! Personally, I love hiking and know most of the local trails very well. I also happen to live in a very walking-oriented part of Eden Prairie so there are many walking trails to choose from. I really enjoy taking my dogs swimming so I am open to taking yours swimming if you feel comfortable with that!!!
