I’ve taken care of dogs and cats all my life, and been trusted with caring for high pedigree and high maintenance “diva” doggies for at least 8 years. I’ve also cared for ailing animals, for both myself, boyfriends and friends. Most importantly is my genuine love for animals, my proven reliability and respect for pets and their comfort and well being. I have two cats now but have had or lived with/cares for a Samoyed, a Husky, a Golden Retriever, a Black Lab and lovable Mutts. I love taking walks, exploring and am a very physical active person who loves to rough house play with dogs. I’m equally a cat person who adores the unique personalities, penchants and peculiarities of our feline friends, be they lap lovers or aloof genteel types.

As mentioned I have two cats and a two bedroom apartment. I also have a boyfriend who lives next door. Dogs are not allowed but for in house cat sitting I would see if the cats get along otherwise separate them. My cats are extremely friendly and curious about other animals. They have never had a bad experience or anything to make them defensive or fearful thus they are receptive even in their own space which they share. Norman, my boyfriend who lives next door is also the property manager who sees to it tat my apartment and the other units in this two building complex are taken care of. Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed but I am receptive to staying at potential clients houses that way the doggies or kitties can stay in their space and I would just be a discreet, clean guest.

I’ve just recently moved to Miami after living 18 years in Washington DC. I’m setting up my sewing and jewelry making studio in the second room in my 2 bedroom apartment with plans ro start an accessories design line to sell locally and via Etsy. As such I have a lot of flexibility currently. I will be getting a part time gig out of the house likely but for now looking for some long-term set schedules to bring some routines into my days beyond the yoga classes and swim dates I’ve got set up.
