I travel for my career. When I am gone, I am gone. When I am home, I am home. I live in a 2 story townhouse style condo. My house backs up to a pretty big side yard. It is not fenced but is pretty far off from the main road. I do have an adorable 18lb Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. I have always had a pet of some sort, mostly dogs. If your dog is as sweet as mine, they will most likely end up in the bed at night. If you would prefer them not to be in the bed, I do have an extra crate and/or blankets to make a cushy dog bed. There is a cat in the house, but we never see them. They are baby-gated off in a separate bedroom. My dog and I, are bigger fans of dogs than we are cats. If your dog is a guest, we would play, go on a walk or maybe even rides in the car. If your dog has special dietary needs or medicine, I will make sure they get what they need. If your dog needs to have more rest than play time, I can try my best to accommodate that. My job is not 8-5, M-F, so I understand and can be flexible with pick-up and drop off times. If I am available and commit to watching your dog, they will be with me most or all, each of those days. I think a small dog all the way up to a lab or golden retriever size would do just fine. Pitbulls, maybe, as long as they get a long well with other people, children, other animals and are well behaved/trained/easy to control (That is a must). I guess that goes for most fur baby guests. If any guests are puppies, you may get them back with a little training. Kana and I look forward to having your fur child! Happy Tails!
