Corinne: Originally from Florida, I had to leave my own cat and dog behind with family when I moved to Brooklyn so I'm looking for the next best thing, spreading the love I have for animals to others who need it when their own families are busy. I have great flexibility- I work from home part-time and can be pretty much anywhere at any time necessary (within reason) so last minute scheduled sessions are fine with me. I listen carefully to how you want pet care to be handled so if that means no couch for Daisy then we will follow the rules. If you want extra cuddles, she'll get that as well! I look forward to meeting you! Ian: I grew up around cats and dogs in my home and have experience with home sitting and pet sitting for little and big pups! I love connecting with animals and learning their personalities. It's such an incredible experience for me. I miss my dog, Hayza (who's in the photo with me), terribly, as she is back with my parents in Massachusetts, so any opportunity to spend time and connect with an animal I get is something I cherish and value deeply. I'm a full-time student, but this summer I will be very available to help you out! Corinne and I are a great team together, and we can't wait to meet you and your loved one!

Corrine and Ian are great! They’ve been our walkers for the past couple of weeks and we couldn’t be happier with them! They even did dog sitting at our house and were great about sending photos and updating us. Would definitely recommend booking them for your pet needs!

Corinne is great with animals. She has watched my dog, Daisy, who can be picky with people and food agressive. She's had 2 dogs and a cat since I've know her (about 3 or 4 years). We would take my dog and hers (Jack) out hiking around the city, and to the dog beach. She proactively predicted his behaviors in certain situations to ensure his happiness and safety as Jack is a runner :). Patches was her other dog that got real sick and she had to have him on special diets and give him IVs and all that jazz. He was well taken care of right to the end. Her kitty, Emie, I've never met a cat that likes to cuddle but this one was so sweet and personable, a testament to ownership. I 100% recommend her as a trustworthy, caring person and pet owner.

I would like to know: How do they feel around other dogs, should we encounter one on a walk or in the park? Do they have a schedule? Are they scared of anything/have anxiety/need a calm environment, etc? Any medications or illness?
A typical day
We like being active if possible, which is part of why we are on Rover. For the high energy fur babies, we will take them on walks or short runs around the neighborhood/to the dog park if there is one nearby. Once the warm weather arrives, we'd love to take them to the Brighton Beach Boardwalk or Prospect Park if that's something you and your dog would be ok with. If your dog likes playing fetch, we love to throw balls and frisbees too! If they prefer to stay indoors, that's fine as well. We practice yoga, which can be pretty calming to do around pets. We also play acoustic music and sing together which many animals love to be around and even participate in by singing along ;) At the end of the day, it's all about what your pet's temperament and preferences are. We are very adaptable to any and all of your and your pets needs!
