I do not board often, as we live in an apartment complex with no yard. Smaller breeds are preferred for boarding, as we have limited space, but our home is their home. They'll get to lounge on beds and furniture and get all the lovins! Sitting fur babies in their own homes is my niche. The pets are somewhere comfortable and familiar while their people are away and experience less anxiety. I give shy babies their space, approach slowly for sniffs and hopefully acceptance of pets; if they aren't comfortable getting close, I won't get in their space, but will try to buy trust as best I can (usually treats, walks, and car rides) I'm tidy and respectful of people's homes. I don't open closed doors and respect people's privacy (unless I'm looking for a shy kitty). I'm addition to caring for your pet(s), I get mail, bring in newspapers, take out garbage and recycling bins, and pick up poopsies when asked (if weather permits). When the stay is done, the dishes will be, too. I will always wash the linens and towels used and, if time and schedules permit, will try to remake the bed when possible. Lines of communication are ALWAYS open!
