Pet care experience
I have a degree in Zoology so I have a love for and knowledge of how to care for pets of many different species. I personally have had my dog for 14 years and have also had fish and 2 hamsters. I also used to work at a dog daycare so I am used to and very comfortable with dogs of any size.

Cori did an outstanding job of taking care of Bookee, my 14 year old cat for 2 weeks. She was super attentive to everything, was thorough in her feedback to me and formed a great relationship with Bookee. I will definitely request her again when I travel. I would highly recommend her!
Cori Sheppard is such a reliable animal taker. She has watched and tended to all of the animals in my house. That includes fish (both salt and fresh water and outdoor pond), dogs, chameleon, turtles and guinea pigs. I have had no problems with any experience I have had with her. She is now our go to animal sitter.
Cori is absolutely wonderful! My dog and cat love her. She’s caring, friendly and upbeat. Follows instructions closely and sends fun photo updates. Highly recommend!

I will care for your pets just as you would. I always make sure they have fresh water and are given plenty of potty breaks. If they have a certain routine they do every morning/night I will do my best to replicate that so your pet is as comfortable as possible while you are away.

I know every pet is different and has special things they like or dislike just like we do so please let me know if there is anything that your pet really enjoys doing or eating or anything that I should not do or be on the lookout for. Especially if your pet has special needs or is older if there are any ques to look for that maybe they're done for the day or anything that your vet is having you look out for as well.
A typical day
I am a big advocate for making sure your pet is not just physically stimulated, but mentally. While I am pet sitting I will create different fun enrichment activities for your pet to do to keep them entertained. I will also take them to their favorite places if they have any or find new places for them to explore.

Availability
I work part-time so I have extra time to spend with your pets. I don't work Tuesdays-Thursdays, but I have flexible hours if I am needed on weekends.
