Pet care experience
I’ve been fortunate to have the opportunity to grow up with animals my whole life. Dogs, cats, birds, snakes, lizards; I’ve experienced it all! Over the past few years I’ve had the opportunity to foster both cats and dogs through local shelters and am highly skilled in working with animals of all sizes and personalities!

We have a chocolate lab named Remington. We had a scheduled trip to another country and were counting on a friend to stay with Remington for a week at our house. This friend had a last minute commitment come up and cancelled on us. I gave an SOS to friends and Cori's name came up. She immediately made an appointment to visit the next day and the day after came over to stay at our house for a week. Cori looked after Remington very well. The best part was that she shared pictures with us every day to let us see how Rem was doing. Sadly, Remington had never been left with anyone before so he was not accustomed to being with others and he threw up for the first 3 days. Cori was very concerned and even offered to take him to his vet. She cleaned up after him. Eventually he was ok. I would recommend Cori to anyone. She really knows how to take care of dogs and is a very kind and loving caregiver. I am forever grateful to her for stepping in at a short notice and helping us. GREAT JOB Cori and THANK YOU!

I have a 3 story townhome that I live in with my partner with no other animals. Our place is quiet with space to crate, if needed. Our community also has other dogs who live here of all breeds and sizes making this an extremely pet friendly space!

I prefer to know ahead of time any behavioral tendencies that your pet may have towards both humans and other animals so I can tailor my visits for your dog and provide the best experience for them. I have experience working with dogs that are leash reactive, but prefer to know of this ahead of time so I can prepare walks and activities around that. Please also inform me if there are and specific foods, treats, etc. that you prefer me to avoid or even prefer me to provide while caring for your pet.
A typical day
I love taking dogs on walks or hikes to help stimulate physical activity, but I also love incorporating simple training as well as games, like sniffing out treats, into daily visits to keep them mentally stimulated as well. I enjoy walking the Atlanta Beltline or my neighborhood streets depending on if the dog I am watching is ok with or needs less animal/human interaction due to reactivity.

Availability
I currently work from home 4 days a week and tend to stay local over the weekends. My community is great for walking and I would love to get my steps in with a nice walk throughout the day, or destress by spending some time with a dog or cat!
