Pet care experience
I volunteer at the Franklin County shelter and I have a cat I adopted 12 years ago. I have a PhD and work at a local university, and I pet sit/dog walk on the side because I enjoy spending time with animals. I frequently pet sit for friends for the joy of animal companionship. I am an endurance athlete so if your dog appreciates long walks, hikes, or even runs, I’d be happy to tire them out! I also have a special place in my heart for senior dogs, and am more than happy to go at their pace. I will walk your dog during the game so you don’t have to miss a single play! Corey was very professional and did an amazing job watching our dog for the weekend. He was able to meet with us a couple weeks before our trip to meet our dog and go over things. While we were away he gave us multiple updates each day with photos included which we really appreciated! I highly recommend him for dog sitting!

A typical day
It depends on what your dog enjoys! I can take your dog on long walks, or even runs if that’s what they enjoy. If your cat or dog prefers time on the couch, I’m always happy to bring my book with me and read with them.

Availability
I work full time, frequently from home. I am usually available for long weekends, and often on holidays. I am also a morning person, and am available for early morning visits. My weekday availability varies depending on what I have going on at work. I work hybrid remote/in person. My job involves a lot of reading, and I have a pretty flexible schedule without set hours. If I work remotely while watching your pet, I can assure you I’ll be able to provide your pet plenty of attention.
