I get my fix through animals
Pet care experience
As a kid I always knew I wanted to be around animals all my life. They make me so happy. My family has had an abundance of animals over the years including (but not limited to) birds, cats, dogs, ferrets, hamsters, lizards, frogs, Guinea pigs, fish, and more! So I definitely have a lot of experience. In high school and early college I house sat a lot for neighbors and personal friends who had pets, including a steady job of letting a woman’s two dogs out at night while she worked as a night shift nurse. I also recently worked at PetsBarn for a year and a half. I absolutely loved my time there meeting so many people’s pets!

Because we currently have a territorial German shepherd in our house we unfortunately cannot board anyone’s pets here, but rest assured your pets will be well taken care of in your home! I have experience with kennel trained dogs, untrained puppies, and huskies who like to watch The Office after I go to bed (no joke!) I also have a 3 month kitten of my own so cats also something I am comfortable watching. I have been a nanny for many years and I have always worked with families that had pets so I am very used to adjusting myself in order to make sure that you’re dog is absolutely comfortable in their own home.

Obviously let me know if your dog had any medical or physical needs. I would also love to know for walking purposes if your dog is reactive to anything (people, dogs, cars,bikes) so I can walk with those in mind. I’d also love to know some of your dogs favorite things! What treats, toys, and activities they love. The more you tell me about your pet the more I can personalize their experience to have an awesome time!
A typical day
I love to engage both dogs minds and bodies. It all depends on what your dog loves! My dog goes crazy for bubbles and loves when I blow bubbles in the backyard. Tug of war? No problem. Sniff it out games for those highly intelligent breeds? I got my cheese ready. Hide and seek? I’m a champ. I also personally love walks and guarantee that your dog will be the first to give in when I put those earbuds in

Availability
I’m currently only working a very minor part time job, barely 10 hours a week. I am working every Thursday from 1:30-6:30 and every 1,3, and 5th Monday and Friday of the month. Fridays from 1:30-6:30 and Mondays from 7-9 AM
