Pet care experience
I grew up taking care of cats and dogs living on a farm. I also owned an iguana in middle school and high school. Over the last 10 years I have regularly house sat for my best friend who has 5 cats and an American bulldog. Coral watched our two dogs (incuding one senior dog) and our home for two weeks while we were away on an international trip. She sent photos and regularly communicated throughout the time we were gone. When we returned, our house was in perfect condition and our dogs were in great spirts. I have worked with new puppies, Kittens, senior dogs and senior cats, behavioral problems for both as well, and dietary and medical needs. I sometimes have to crate the dog I watch for my friend and give him a sedative as well as play a certain radio station for him as well. Each animal I housesit for has their routine and I make sure to write this down so I ensure they stick to their routine.

Please let me know the animal's routine, likes and dislikes ahead of time. Any dietary restrictions or special needs and I will accommodate. If there is anything I can do to make them more comfortable and loved I will do it. As far as dog CPR, I can definitely learn this. I was in the army and got medically trained to do an IV as well as treat traumatic injuries, so first aid itself for cuts or wounds I can treat until I bring them into the vet.
A typical day
Depending on the energy level of the dog, I will take them on walks or if they have a backyard to play in with approved toys and treats we can do that. I do enjoy taking them on drives and to get treats from drive thrus if owners allow this. Also enjoy going to a few public parks as well if they are good being around other dogs and people.

Availability
I work from home and make my own hours. I have a very flexible schedule and can housesit for long periods of time or short amounts of time as well. Unfortunately my cat is not willing to have other animals around her, so I can only come to the pet or home versus having any pets come to me. But almost any day of the week works for me to pet sit.
