Pet care experience
We are Ryan and Coral and we love animals! We've both always been pet owners, since childhood and have always had both dogs and cats together (for 14 years!). We have two daughters, 7 and 11 years old who have also always had pets in their lives. Our oldest daughter has spent considerable time working for a cat rescue (while the younger one tagged along!), and both of them love animals. We also have a golden retriever, Ruby, who will be 2 in October. Ruby is very affectionate, friendly and submissive.

Marble looked right at home and we enjoyed the photo updates. They accommodated our early “check in” and we would definitely use them again.
I have been looking for a family-friendly home for my 10 year old Golden, so I could visit family and know she was safe and well-loved. This family was perfect. Each of them are obviously animal lovers. The daughters snuggled with Winnie at bedtime, read her bedtime stories, and always had one hand on her loving her up. Ryan and Coral integrated her completely into their lives so she was never alone and always a part. Their Golden, Ruby, was a sweet playmate. I couldn’t have found a better family for her.

Coral, Ryan, Ruby (their dog), and their daughters were wonderful and responsive. They showed me around and introductions to Ruby went well right off the bat. I knew Sophie was going to have a great time. They sent me updates of endless cuddles, kisses, and walks. I picked her up and she slept for the rest of the night and next day. I knew she must’ve had a great slumber party with some new friends to keep her occupied and loved while I was out of town. I’ll definitely reach out for a stay for Sophie in the future!

We have a fenced yard with a pool (which is always fenced when not in use). We use baby gates to block off bedrooms in our home, allowing for alone time, if necessary. Pets are more than welcome in our home and on furniture (but we will defer to pet parents' rules about that!). There will alway be someone available for playtime and cuddles!

We would like to know that your dog or cat is comfortable with children, as we do have kids here. The girls absolutely love all animals, but they know to look for signs that animals need space, and will always respect that.
A typical day
We're happy to take it at your pet's preferred pace. We have a lovely greenbelt in our neighborhood with lots of smells to check out. Ruby (who has a reliable recall) loves to visit the local elementary school to chase a ball or frisbee. We have several mentally stimulating dog puzzles available and will provide lots of outside time in the backyard, too.

Availability
Ryan works from home, while Coral is a stay at home parent, managing the household and kids activities. There is almost always someone at home here! The girls go to school and will be home after 2:30 as well.
