Young, caring and welcoming to any fur baby

Pet care experience

Hi! My names Cora; I’m a 19 year old girl originally from Manchester who's just recently moved to Lincoln. I have always been around dogs, both professionally and personally and starting up my own dog walking business is the dream, so I thought i’d give Rover a go whilst i’m saving up! I volunteered at a doggy day care for about 6 months before my sixth form exams, where I worked with up to 40 dogs per day, from minature Yorkies to two beautiful ( but very boisterous ) Huskies. I volunteered there for between 4-8 hours a week where I maintained cleanliness of the arena whilst entertaining and of course cuddling all of the dogs! From September 2021 to April 2022, I worked as an apprentice at the UK’s pioneering kennel-free rescue; Dogs4Rescue in Manchester. Unfortunately due to the move I had to say my goodbyes as the travel just wasn’t feasible. Whilst working there I had experience with a large pack of rescue dogs from all over the world, most of which being medium - large. I used to walk the dogs and observe training with the more reactive dogs. It was an extremely rewarding job and I was gutted to be leaving. As you can see from the attatched pictures I've lived with a range of dogs of all sizes and backgrounds and needless to say I absolutely adore them! In my home we have always had dogs - when I was young we had two rescues; a blue roan Cocker Spaniel and an Irish Wolfhound cross, both of which had hearts of gold. Unfortunately they passed in 2015 and 2018. In 2019, we then brought home a Welsh Border Collie who was extremely hard work but again, was a bundle of joy; sadly due to my parents splitting we had to rehome Cooper in early 2020 (he has since found his forever home!). Now we have a beautiful little Jack Russell Terrior cross King Charles called Milo that we homed during the national lockdown - he comes everywhere with me and I have never known such a friendly and loving dog! He wants to say hi to everyone we walk past and tries to play with every dog he sees. Now the dog crazy intro is out of the way, I would be absolutely honoured to look after any fur baby who crossed my path! I don’t yet have a job here, so I decided now would be the perfect time to get some dog walking experience of my own! I can now drive so am able to cater dogs from all over the area and take them to some lovely walks. We live a 30 second walk next to a large common where I take Milo on the daily - we let him off and throw his ball for him for hours on end sometimes! It's a popular dog walking area so we see many different breeds who love to play with Milo too. I'm happy to walk, feed, play, bath and cuddle your babies or whatever else they may require! I have no restrictions on breed, age or size as long as they're friendly and welcoming. Thankyou so much for reading and I look forward to hearing from you!! x

I live right by a beautiful common river which is always a beautiful place to take my dog; lots of smells and other dogs to say hi to! I often bring a ball with me too to ensure he is getting the most out of his walks. I’ve recently discovered a few woodland walks too which my dog loves!
