Hailing originally from the District of Columbia where my main gig Monday-Friday was a dog walking route. Sometimes I had up to fifteen in one day! Good time management skills certainly helps when it comes to having a multiple dog route. Ensuring every pup got the full walk time from pick up to drop off. Post walk I’d leave a note with details of our adventure and any business that got done. Some of the pups were special cases as well. If your pup needs some extra help or has other extra needs I am qualified to handle it. I’ve worked with dogs that were hard of hearing, needed medication, and wearing a muzzle. I walked Dee who wore a muzzle the first week I walked her with the owner. She was weary of people and I was trained with her muzzle on till she was comfortable. Post training Dee never wore the muzzle even during multiple 2 week long sits. I would stay in the home and she would sleep next to me! Who wouldn’t want a cute pup cuddled up next to them?! My headline is true pet therapy is real! A pups smiling face can brighten anyone’s day! I enjoy taking care of animals, the outdoors, and exercising. Being a dog walker is my favorite way of doing all three! If your dog likes to get a good work out in I’ll be right beside them doing the same. Through my work in dog walking I’ve been able to train some dogs for friends as well.
