Pet care experience
I specialize in running with dogs and working with reactive / high energy dogs. As a marathon runner, I have the endurance to run several miles with your furry friend around your neighborhood. I have experience working with reactive dogs, and would be happy to get to know your dog and their tendencies. I am not a dog trainer, but I will do training methods consistent with what you are doing with your dog.

Cooper did an amazing job watching my pup! I was a little worried to leave our puppy for the first time because she is only 8 weeks old, has some separation anxiety, and has not been around males much. However, Cooper did a wonderful job with her and she warmed up to him right away. Cooper has a very calming presence which I think is especially helpful for dogs to feel comfortable in a new environment. I was so grateful for Cooper and will definitely use his services again!
Do you have a high-energy pup that needs more exercise than a typical walk provides? Cooper's your guy for that. Maybe you're like me and in addition to having a pup who is high energy, you also have a pup who is reactive and struggles with fear aggression. Cooper is also your guy. He's been helping my dog, Riley, for the past few months. Because Riley is slow to warm up, Cooper met with us several times to establish a bond and familiarity with Riley. He also took the time to learn about Riley's reactivity and our force-free, positive reinforcement methods for doing so. Some dog walkers see a need like ours and pass for an easier client. Others are willing to take on our guy for the revenue. Cooper wasn't just willing. He wanted to work with Riley and learn about him. Now he takes Riley for runs and is even increasing the distance Riley can run pretty soon. Cooper is prompt, dependable, responsive, and a good communicator. Riley loves him. He'll work with you to learn about your dog and your needs. We haven't needed pet sitting yet but when we do, I would not hesitate to trust Cooper to look after our pup and our home in our absence. Thanks, Cooper, for taking such good care of my guy. Your new pups and their owners will be lucky to have you.

I love playing fetch at the park, going on long runs to build dog endurance, and playing with the toys that owners provide. If a dog park or dog beach is nearby, I am happy to take your pet to the park and play.

Availability
My schedule is pretty flexible, but I'd prefer to keep runs in the morning or afternoon to avoid the mid day heat. If I am out of town, I'll note that on my availability calendar.
