Pet care experience
Full-time graduate student looking for a part-time job, loving and taking care of dogs. [Also a cat lover!] I genuinely love to be around animals and would enjoy the opportunity to be with and help take care of your's while you are away. ~Dates Available include: Monday's between 11-2, Tuesday's after 10, Thursday's after 3, and all day Friday's and weekends. ~I am flexible with my drop-ins and walks based on my class schedule and your needs; just ask! I am a Graduate Assistant for UIndy as an OTD student. Prefer to walk dogs if there are within the small to large breed sizes and are well behaved on a leash. Tug of war running champ (behind my own dog), snug buddy, and fetch enthusiast. Always up for learning new tricks and helping pups achieve their own victories (sit, lay down, roll over, etc.). Will gladly provide assistance in giving medication to pups who often refuse (the secret is cheese).

Contessa exuded nothing but professionalism throughout the entire situation. She met us at a public place, walked Ruby, and spoke with us for over an hour. She then came to our home a couple of days later to get a lay of the land and to pick up our key. Over the weekend she was incredibly timely on her visits, thorough, and I can tell really enjoyed playing with our dog. Ruby really took to Contessa! She may not have a lot of reviews thus far but certainly book her when you get the chance!
Contessa is amazing! She took such great care of our pups! She gave lots of treats and love to our girls while we were gone.
Contessa is amazing with both of our 4 legged children, 1 is a Husky and the other a Mix. Her attention and care is awesome and Josie and Abby cannot wait to see her when she’s home! I would highly recommend Contessa!
I have known Contessa for many years and know she is a very caring, dedicated, and conscientious woman. She loves dogs and knows what they need to be happy and healthy. I would not hesitate to hire Contrssa to care for my fur babies. She is high energy and will provide the love and companionship that dogs need when their Mom and Dad can’t be there for them.

A typical day
If the pups are used to walks around the neighborhood, I am more than willing to take them out and about for a couple miles. If they are well acclimated to the dog park (and if it is near by) I would love to take them there too, allowing them to interact with the other pups. Fetch, tug of war, rough play on the floor (if they enjoy that), and of course snugging with lots of pets and belly rubs.
