Pet care experience
Dogs will love coming to day care in the quiet country. 4 acres of fenced in property with chickens, cats, children, and a coonhound. I am able to train basic commands for an additional fee. At this time I do not accept large dogs due to having a small baby in the home, this will change as he grows. I have worked as a kennel tech at a vet clinic, have experience with training, and love all animals, especially dogs. Our property is surrounded by goat fencing, so if your dog is under 15 pounds, it will be taken outside on leash so there is no risk of escaping. I have experience with special needs and can do subcutaneous fluids and administer medications if needed. "It's not like going to a hotel, it's more like going to a relative's house and sleeping on the couch. Lots of love and the feeling of home!"

We had a last minute emergency come up and was able to connect with Constance. Lola, our puppy, had an absolute blast with them, their other dogs and kids. They have a huge fenced in yard that Lola was able to enjoy. We will definitely be having Lola stay with them in the future!!!
My husband and I travel frequently and rely on Constance to feed and care for our many pets while we are away. She is efficient and caring with our animals and they dearly love her. She does a wonderful job.

I need to know how the dog is with small children as I have a 3 year old and a baby. The 3 year old knows to respect the dog's boundaries and personal space. The dog doesn't HAVE to be good with cats, but if it is not, I MUST know beforehand so that I can put my cats up. We have free range chickens also that the dog will have to be ok with. No chasing chickens.
A typical day
I do not provide walks unless the dog is too small and must be on leash because we have 4 acres of fenced in property. I like to know what kind of toys the dog likes to play with (ball, frisbee, squeeky) and will play any time we go outside. Outside breaks are every 2 hours.
