Hello! My name is Conor and I am very excited about possibly helping take care of your dog! I am a long time dog lover, having grown up in a house owning an energetic golden retriever named Amber, and an adorable wheaten terrier named Bailey. I loved both of these dogs and some of my best memories as a kid involve running around with them in the yard. As I moved away from home, I lived with roommates who entrusted their dogs' care to me if they had to go away for any reason. In this respect, I learned feeding and training routines as well as the exercise needs of bigger dogs like huskies and walker hounds. Additionally, I have experience as a Humane Society volunteer, so am able to accommodate any of your dog's special needs. With that said, I am currently working part time as a tutor with a very flexible schedule, so am quite available to come to your home at almost any time for short day visits, or longer overnight stays. I am currently unable to accommodate any dogs at my home. During my dog-sitting, I would likely walk your dog or play with them in the yard while strictly adhering to any feeding or training schedules provided. During shorter day visits, I will spend the entire time with your dog. For longer overnight stays, I will be sure never to leave your dog unattended for longer than 2 hrs max and will bring everything necessary to spend nights at your home for the duration of my hire. Lastly, just as a background, I am highly educated in biology, so I have a general knowledge of canine health needs, so you can be sure your dog will be well cared for in my hands.
