Pet care experience
I’ve grown up around dogs my entire life and currently have a 3 year old golden/red Labrador. Reliable for walks, feeding, overnight care and giving dogs stimulation and attention. I work full-time alongside studying my masters in counselling, so try to keep on top of my calendar. After summer 2024 I’m aiming to work on more of a part time basis which may come with more availability.

Brilliant dog sitters, amazing communication before and during dog stay, and it was clear Colin was a natural with dogs and has a clear love for animals. Colin sent us daily photos and updates of walks and reassured us they were happy and content. Glad to have found a reliable dog sitter, and would 100% book again!
Very welcoming, made us feel like Ralph would be safe and looked after! Ralph had plenty of exercise and socialised with Conor's dogs and we received updates and photos of his time away from us. Would 100% recommend!
Our dogs are both rescues and are definitely both quite complex! Conor was amazing and stuck to their routine and gave them lots of fun. He had a lot of knowledge of their behaviours and was very accommodating. They had lots of space and definitely felt safe with Conor as they managed to switch off, which they usually struggle to do! Definitely recommend :)

I have a flat with plenty of toys, we are on the ground floor and close to parks. I can drive to beaches and longer walks. I have one Labrador who will most likely get on with your dog and are happy to share their many many toys. He can be arranged to go elsewhere if required. We love taking the dogs on holiday and hikes too! In the past couple of years they have been to Shetland and Orkney, Eigg, Perthshire cabin, a cottage in Glenlivet and numerous camping trips. I love photography, especially getting dog photos in outdoor places and fun poses/action shots.

Let me know any specific care needs, and any preferences you might have. If you do not want them on furniture at all, I can continue that, or, if allowed they can come up and get cuddles. Let me know how long your dogs can be left alone for (if at all) which allows me to plan my own activities (gym, social things), I am always happy to cancel plans that aren’t set in stone if dogs can’t be left.
A typical day
I will take your dogs on walks (depending on their needs) and play in the grass across the street (weather permitting) I like to hide toys and treats around the flat and make this a fun game, lots and lots of cuddles, and even visitors if the dogs are friendly. I’ve had dogs come to the pub as well in the past!

Availability
I currently work full time, and can work from home when required. My preference would be to do overnights (weekends) either in your house or mine. I have a Labrador at home BUT can have arrangements in place to have my flat to myself with no other dogs if needed. I would be willing to discuss week long or weekday care if required if you are on holiday and your dog doesn’t mind being on their own for a few hours in the day.
