Successful Service Dog Trainer!!
Pet care experience
From 2017 to 2019 I raised a 4 month old chocolate lab puppy for 19 months to be a service dog-to-be. She came with me everywhere and giving her back to be certified was one of the hardest and most rewarding things I've ever done. She came with me everywhere from the movies to church and school. She was not fixed so I also have plenty of experience with heat. Eventually she became a lifelong companion for someone with Autism. I also have friends and family members with dogs of all sizes, I don't pick favorites. I have a often changing schedule through my full time job but if I say I can be there, I mean it! I also volunteered at Austin Animal Center the last 2 years when I lived in Texas. Currently living in Perryopolis, PA.
Reviews
Connor is the most animal loving person I have ever met. Connor took on the responsibility to foster a service dog while In school full time with a very demanding schedule. His number one priority was always school, but once the dog became a part of his life the dog was always his first priority. He always made sure the dog was taken care of and he went everywhere with him. Connor is a very responsible adult and understands the large responsibility that comes with caring for a dog. I would trust Connor with my dogs life without batting an eye. Connor is a highly recommended dog sitter/animal lover.
As a close family friend of Connor's, I have seen his love and dedication for dogs. Connor showed this as he trained a female chocolate lab to become a service dog for almost 2 years. This demanded extra effort and time from him as he brought her to athletic events, the grocery store and every friend/family gathering. He raised her as his own, although knowing he was going to have to give her back to her company. Not only did he show unconditional love for her, but he does for all dogs he knows, including mine. He is caring, responsible and fun, and is without a doubt a great caretaker.
Connor is a great candidate for Rover. He volunteered to take care of a chocolate lab puppy for over a year for an organization that trained service dogs to help track spikes in diabetics' glucose level. Working with the organization, he trained, walked, bathed, and lived with the puppy, taking her everywhere he went, introducing her to a multitude of environments and scenarios she would face with its permanent owner. He works well with dogs and their owners, has always proved to be very responsible and is very good at following directions. Connor has taken care of my 7 year old golden doodle many times, sometimes for weeks, and my pup LOVES him. Connor has a natural way with canines and has become an excellent caretaker with plenty of experience.
Connor is a very responsible and kind young man who is full of energy and great with animals and people. He has cared for my dog on multiple occasions and she loves him, I might even say more than she likes me occasionally. He provides great care, walks, and entertainment for her. Her excitement at his arrival is always beyond evident and upon his departure, she waits at the door for him to come back. I trust Connor as a person and especially while caring for my dog. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for reliable, trustworthy, and exceptional care of their furry family member!

Safety, trust & environment
I will be caring for your pets in your home the same way you would. I find that the dogs feel the most comfortable when their routines are modified as little as possible so I will take your guidance on how you want them to be handled in your home... (let out in the backyard, indoor play, walks, etc).
Information Connor L. would like to know about your pet
I find its important to know whether the dog has quirks and certain things that bother them/produce reactivity from them so I can avoid those actions. Also any health concerns that you feel are pertinent for me to know like allergies or diseases. Any ways to quickly earn their trust is always helpful as well!!
A typical day
I prefer long walks outside so they are able to smell and be stimulated by things they don't normally get inside. I also love playing fetch with those that are interested or tug of war for that great dog engagement.

Availability
Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday mornings, I don't need to be in to work until 2 pm so I like to help out fellow dog owners with more traditional schedules and make a little extra money as well.
